Moving provinces isn’t just a transaction, it’s a life overhaul. You need someone who knows the streets, the schools, the utilities, the hidden costs, the real timelines, and the reality behind every “Is this normal?” moment you’re about to face.
I’m that person.
I’ve helped 50+ families relocate to Greater Moncton, from Ontario, Alberta, BC, and everywhere in between. I know the neighbourhoods that make sense, the ones that don’t, the homes that look cute online but fall apart in person, and the ones that will make you say, “This is it.”
I tell you the truth, even when it’s inconvenient. I protect you from the blind spots you don’t know you have. I don’t let you overpay. I don’t let you settle. And I don’t disappear once the keys are in your hand.
I’m with you from the first “Could we actually do this?” to the final box you unpack (and beyond).
If you want a clear, strategic move that feels grounded instead of chaotic, you want me in your corner and i'm HERE for it, wholeheartedly.

Real Talk About NB Costs: Insurance, Property Taxes & NB Power
Moving to New Brunswick comes with financial advantages, lower home prices, calmer pace, more space.. but it's important to be clear about the costs that can be higher here compared to Ontario, especially on older homes. Here's the truth families appreciate up front.
Home Insurance Can Be Higher
New Brunswick has a unique climate, older housing stock in many areas, and more variation in heating systems. Older homes (pre-1990, or anything with older roofing, wiring, or plumbing), homes with in-law suites or with wood stoves may see higher insurance premiums. Many insurers require proof of updates, and water-related coverage (flooding, sewer backup) may raise premiums.
Property Taxes Work Differently
NB's tax system calculates property taxes provincially plus municipally with no "municipal rebate" like some Ontario cities offer. Older or centrally located homes may have higher assessments, and multi-unit or investment properties are taxed at a higher rate. However, overall carrying costs are often lower because home prices are dramatically lower.
NB Power Can Get Expensive in Winter
NB winters can hit hard, and electric heat is very common here. Winter bills can spike significantly, especially in older homes without heat pumps. Baseboard heating alone can be expensive in cold months, so it's important to budget accordingly.
The balancing factor: even if property taxes are higher, the overall carrying cost is often lower because the home price is dramatically lower. You need the full picture, not just one line item.
