Download the Medicare application, provide identification and proof of residency, then submit by mail or in person. Your Medicare card typically arrives within four to six weeks.

Locate Walk-In Clinics
Horizon Health operates walk-in clinics throughout Greater Moncton. Bring your Medicare card or temporary coverage letter. Expect longer waits during peak hours, typically mornings and early afternoons.

Know Your Hospitals
Moncton Hospital provides English services whilst Georges L. Dumont offers French services. Both are full-service facilities with emergency departments, specialists, and comprehensive maternity care.
Important: Keep your temporary coverage documentation until your Medicare card arrives. Healthcare facilities will accept proof of application for immediate services.
